Mousetrap

Mousetrap is a mixed ultimate club based out of Madison, WI. We're focused on playing high-level ultimate and fostering a team environment full of awesome vibes. We aim to be the most fun team to play for or against!

History

Originally founded as The Herd in 2015 as an offshoot of Mastodon, we played our first tournament at Northwest Plains Sectionals finishing 15th. The next year, The Herd was back at Sectionals improving to an 11th place finish.

In 2017, the team reorganized as Mousetrap and played a full regular season going 4-10 across games at Heavyweights and Cooler Classic before finishing 9th at Sectionals. 2019 saw Mousetrap play at North Central Regionals for the first time after placing 8th at Sectionals. We've been back to Regionals each season since and have continued to improve our end of season finish.

We pride ourselves on both team and individual player growth. As a team, we have improved each year and have consistently held or broken seed at every Sectionals and Regionals tournament we've played. We've had many former Mice go on to play for high-level club teams like NOISE and semi-pro teams like the Madison Radicals and Milwaukee Monarchs. We look to continue our growth every year, aiming to improve as individual players and improve our record and finish at Sectionals and Regionals!
